Book Review: A drop of You by Krishna Chhetri

About the Book
We become overtly colourless when our hearts aren't together; only when a soul finds its body, they sing and dance together to the colours of life.
Three closely knit people, Karma, Diana & Ghazal meet at the crossroads of life, unaware of the cosmic conspiracy and its comical destiny. Heart is their road, love is their journey and the soul, the final destination. Sailing on the tides of emotions, they encounter deceit, with a tinge of poison and drop of bliss.
Forever love; it is a myth? Or a reality? Is it stifling pain or undying love, that makes love eternal? Come, let us explore!

My Take on the book
For someone who loves poetry, this book is a refreshing read. A drop of you is the debut book by Krishna Chhetri, the book narrates the story of three friends, Karma, Diana, and Ghazal, who are caught in a love triangle situation. This is a tale of love,  friendship, destiny, and heartbreak.  Like every love triangle, three friends find themselves in a situation they can't avoid…. Diana and Karma are childhood friends, and later Ghazel enters their life and it takes a complicated turn. Diana loves Karma, Karma loves Ghazal, and so on.
Karma, the male protagonist falls in love with Ghazal at first sight and tries to make her fall for him with his romantic poems. Diana, on the other hand, is waiting for a time to confess her love to him. However, in the midst of the situation, a slight misunderstanding changes everything.
One interesting thing about this book is, it is written in a unique mixture of poetry and prose format where readers are introduced to poetry followed by the story in each chapter. The author has penned down the poetry in the most philosophical way, and since I love poetry book, it was indeed a pleasurable read for me. However, towards the middle chapters, I found the story a little stretched and monotonous.
if you are into cheesy, romantic read, then this book is just right for you.
You may pick this book if you are looking for a romantic/light read.
Overall, apart from the typical love triangle plot line, I thoroughly enjoyed the poems, and some of them were really well versed and beautifully written.
Pick up a copy today to find out the story of three different people caught up in a similar situation. Will Karma win his love over his lady love? How will Ghazal react to this change? Will Diana accept her fate? Find out in the book.

Book Review: Yours Legally by Sonia Sahijwani

About the Book A young girl Sia has recently finished her graduation in Law against her parent’s wishes. With absolutely no family background in the legal profession, she sets out to explore the various opportunities this not so common but upcoming field of law brings her way. Written in the form of short stories and inspired by some true events, the author, through the protagonist Sia, narrates to us few such unusual and memorable incidents including some eccentric courtroom dramas, all of which left a deep impact in her life. This debut book one is an honest attempt to talk about the law with a dash of satire, with an aim to reach out to all those who may or may have never heard anything about the legal profession nor would have ever stepped inside a court. And for those who are a part of it already, they might relate to it in some way. Just read along and enjoy the short but bumpy ride….. My Take on the Book The title of the book caught my attention. ‘ Yours Legally ’ b...
