Who Wants To Marry Kai Juicewalla?: One life, Many loves, Endless (Mis)adventures- Book Review

Blurb

How many toads should a girl kiss before she finds her Prince Charming? Kai Juicewalla. Foodie. Sucker for Shah Rukh Khan movies and everything about him. A romantic feminist (no, that is not an oxymoron). Parsi by birth, so crazy by right. Likes making rules but keeps forgetting them. Is unconventional in the most conventional sense. Has ample curves but still rough around the edges. And loves to exercise—her opinions only. Who Wants to Marry Kai Juicewalla? is her racy, candid and juicy chronicle where she battles bullies, bulges and badmash company in a classy, sassy and bad assy way. An unending list of losers seems to be the bane of her life—a gold digger, a social climber, an unrequited love interest, an Italian Adonis, an identity thief (in the closet), a confused hot therapist, a raging narcissist. For this singleton, the global hunt for the perfect man always seems to crash and burn. Her life comes a full circle when she discovers the most important relationship of her life—her relationship with herself. This no-holds-barred assault on your funny bone upholds the universal truth that the journey is more important than the destination.

My Take on the Book

Meet Kai, Parsi by birth, so crazy by right. Likes making rules but keeps forgetting them. She is unconventional in the most conventional sense. Has ample curves but is still rough around the edges. And loves to exercise—her opinions only.

Who Wants To Marry Kai Juicewalla? is one racy and juicy memoir by Kainaz Jussawalla.
The book will take you on a (Mis) adventurous journey of Kai, a self-proclaimed romantic feminist. The book has everything you are looking for in a light read. From tongue-and-check humour to lessons about love, the book delivers a clear message about relationships, body positivity and mental health, and most importantly; finding oneself. It also talks about the protagonist's single life and her hunt for the non-existent perfect dude. The book is super candid and raw, and you will surely find it relatable in one or the other way.

Apart from just being witty and hilarious, this one was a bold and engaging read. If you enjoy YA or is looking for a clever rom-com read, this one’s for you.

Selfless Love

Image Credit -Google She is someone who is ready to sacrifice her comfort for the love of her child. Someone, wh o will say 'yes' despite the various consequences. She carried you alone on her womb for nine months enduring all pain yet, not a single complain on any days. She went in pain to give life to another being. She may be quite, although there are millions of thoughts and words going through her mind. She would spent those sleepless night to see that her son does better in his test. And, she tries her best to cook the perfect dinner so that her husband can go to bed with a happy stomach. She might as well give up all her wellbeing to let her daughter get the best of everything. She bears all the hardship to see that the house is in good shape and in peace. She is your mother, My mother, Our dearest Mother. And, most of the time we fail to say the simplest of thank you to her, or the little word of appreciation to make her...
