Book Review: Little Me in Everyone by Eddyee Siingh

 About the Book

If you want to learn and grow in life, start exploring the world inside you and believe the omnipresent "Genius". Every human is born with a "genius", a guardian spirit allocated at birth. Caged in this mind is the 'Little Me' helping us, talking to us, questioning us, and nurturing us all along the way. The eternal conversations we have, our struggles for justifications and morals, and our gut feelings are what shape the voice of our 'Little Me'. It grows inside the spiritual realm of energy and the soul as we also grow with each new experience in life. The Self, the Ego and the Pride evolve from and dissolve within a person's 'Little Me'. In this book you'll find the reflections of everyone's 'Inner Self' and 'Little Me', protected by Spirit Guide "Genius" thus guiding us to learn and rejoice every moment of being alive despite the perplexities of life.

My Take on the Book

If you want to learn and grow in life, start exploring the world inside you and believe in the omnipresent "Genius". Every human is born with a "genius", a guardian spirit allocated at birth. Caged in this mind is the 'Little Me' helping us, talking to us, questioning us, and nurturing us all along the way.

Eddyee Siingh, the author will help us find the reflections of our inner self through this book. As someone who believes in a spiritual guide and is constantly trying to listen to what the voice inside me is trying to say, I found the book very engrossing.  This book helped me in understanding and gave me clarity on how to attain the light of my spirit. The book comprises of 59 gripping chapters, with each explaining and guiding us to understand, grown, and learn from the 'genius' inside us.

The book also talks about our inner self-doubt and inner positivity. If you are someone who believes in the existence of a spiritual being, then you will find this book quite relatable. The author wrote about how we are unique in our own ways and that there's a 'Lil Me' inside every one of us, that helps us, questions us, and nature us to grow. Human has their own traits and certain traits we possess can set us apart from the rest. More such insightful thought is shared by the author from his perspective and this book will surely help you discover the inner you. The Self, the Ego, and the Pride evolve from and dissolve within a person's 'Little Me'. The book will answer a few of your quests and make you ponder more on yourself. It also explains how the moment we self-doubt or self-pity, the little me loses a bit of his brilliance, but if we thrive on the knowledge we acquire in our life, it will help us transform into wisdom. Needless to say, I found the book really inspiring, it gave me a newer understanding of knowing myself deeper. You can pick this read if you are a believer in spiritualism or if you are trying to understand your inner self more clearly.

Book Review: I’ve Never Been (Un)Happier by Shaheen Bhatt

About the book Lights, Camera . . . Inaction Unwittingly known as Alia Bhatt’s older sister, screenwriter and fame-child Shaheen Bhatt has been a powerhouse of quiet restraint—until now. In a sweeping act of courage, she now invites you into her head. Shaheen was diagnosed with depression at eighteen, after five years of already living with it. In this emotionally arresting memoir, she reveals the daily experiences and debilitating big picture of one of the most critically misinterpreted mental illnesses in the twenty-first century. Equal parts conundrum and enlightenment, Shaheen takes us through the personal pendulum of understanding and living with depression in her privileged circumstances. With honesty and a profound self-awareness, Shaheen lays claim to her sadness, finding it a home in the universal fabric of the human condition. In this multi-dimensional, philosophical tell-all, Shaheen acknowledges, accepts and overcomes the peculiarities of this way of being alive...

Book Review: Poptastic by Victoria Holmes

Happy Pride Month! Are you reading any book based on LGBTQ? If yes, drop in your recco. About the Book Bridesmaiding is a tedious business at the best of times, but as Julia discovers, the task is particularly cumbersome when one of the brides is your ex and her fiancée won’t stop sulking about it. With the wedding threatening to dominate everything for the rest of the year, a bewildering embrace with a devastatingly attractive pop star offers a welcome distraction. Dating Krisha catapults Julia away from the paltry concerns of dress fittings and hen dos, but it also takes her away from her friends, and directly leads to her most disastrous f**k up yet. Much to her surprise, she discovers that embracing the role she’d accepted so reluctantly might just be exactly what she needs. My Take on the Book There are very few debut novels which I read and it gives out a promising vibe, Poptastic by Victoria Holmes happened to be one of them.  TBH, I have never really re...

About the Book We become overtly colourless when our hearts aren't together; only when a soul finds its body, they sing and dance together to the colours of life. Three closely knit people, Karma, Diana & Ghazal meet at the crossroads of life, unaware of the cosmic conspiracy and its comical destiny. Heart is their road, love is their journey and the soul, the final destination. Sailing on the tides of emotions, they encounter deceit, with a tinge of poison and drop of bliss.   Forever love; it is a myth? Or a reality? Is it stifling pain or undying love, that makes love eternal? Come, let us explore! My Take on the book For someone who loves poetry, this book is a refreshing read. A drop of you is the debut book by Krishna Chhetri, the book narrates the story of three friends,  Karma, Diana, and Ghazal, who  are caught in a love triangle situation. This is a tale of love,  friendship, destiny, and heartbreak.    Like every love triang...
